Overview of the Course:
B.Sc. Food Science & Nutrition concerns the field of science er emphasis is given on Food, Nutrition, Diet and their Products, Management, Preservation etc. This programme concentrates on the aspect of nutrition, the technique of preservation and its importance to health.
The course enables a student to – Learn various aspects of foods Develop skills in Food Analysis and assessment of food quality
Have knowledge of various manufacturing and packaging equipments
Develop innovative food products
Eligibility criteria for admitting students . 12th Sci. pass or equivalent (10+2) only Girls
• Fees : Fees as per the norms of SNDT University.
• Facility :SC, ST, DBT, VJNT, NTA, NTC, SBC, EWS, Open/Genera category) students are eligible for getting benefits of Maha DBT with term and condition of Govt. of Maharashtra.
